problem text, makes file very heavy

Guys, one question.

is it possible to reduce the size of a file that has a text(in curves)? the problem is that even a few letters make the file very heavy (absorbed but it is so), and it is difficult to manage it in the cnc software.

Then you exploded?

If it's a particular font you might have got a lot of small curves.

you should join them in the least curved possible, make a rebuild so that it becomes a single curve (the united section).

You should lighten.

Nothing. I made a simple plate with few writings, I exploded and reunited, but the file is very heavy.. Basically nothing changes.

There is a note to do. I convert to dxf the file to make it read to the machine. so it becomes very heavy

If you didn't write us over the divine comedy, then there's something wrong. You could attach a 3dm file, even with a single character, so we can see if there is a problem in font management. easier than the problem arises in the conversion to dxf, if you do not use the appropriate parameters.

also the 3dm version of the file seems to me teeming, 500kb are many for a few letters.. the dxf version reaches even 5 mb, an absurdity. .

the 3dm file has nothing wrong, evidently that is the memory space it needs to save the geometry of your writing in the form of curves nurbs.

the dxf file is heavy because in the conversion parameters you used too tight tolerance. you have so many points and very close, I see you play the curve with a tolerance in the order of 0.00001 mm, what do you need? try to save with less demanding tolerances and you will see that your file will be lighter.

right, if the plate will have a size of about 40x30cm can suffice one 0.1 0.01 centimeter.
I tried out of curiosity to reduce the number of tops of dxf polylines in autocad with this program:http://superuser.com/questions/263669/how-to-simplify-a-polyline-in-autocadthe dxf file that allego is reduced to 380kb!

Can you please tell me where I change tolerance? is not the "absolute tolerance" option found in the options, I tried. .
