I am new just registered because I have problems with the 3d car cad that nn I can solve and it is days that I take words from the head (among other things it is not even able to turn on the computer) because it wants urgently a render but it is the first time I take in hand the 3d let alone the render.. You're totally right. The rush made me wrong.. cmq I use a version of autocad 2010. I'm new in the three-dimensional world and I have to make a render for work. to realize a render (of a house) logically needs a 3d that is what I have to create. to facilitate the work I use a 3d created not by me, my task is only in changing it. I have to fix the tile net right now. At least I think it's a retino. the situation is this: the retino already has the right inclination and scale for the roof in question but has 3 holes that correspond to the skylights that were in the previous project. I have to manage to eliminate these "holes" so fill the holes obviously with the same retino. How do I do that? I hope I explained bwene. thanks for any answers.

You don't even know if the editing element is a retino or something. you can help (though frankly I don't even know how) for this problem; Once you've solved, you'll have another, another and another. your "chief" should be kicked in the ass but it's just as true that you shouldn't be in the condition of getting them in your turn and first.

I don't have autocad so I hope I don't give you wrong directions.


cmq I think you should look in the menu the untrim command or cancels cut if you have a version in English

What size does it have?

If the tiles are a net, try double-clicking and see opens the editor.
if yes, just update the areas to fill (the holes of the skylights) and is made.
If they are 3d tiles, copy them.

to perform the change you ask proceed in this way

type _draws selections 2 points of the skylight cutting and maintains both cutting floors

run the command again on the other side

then with the command separates solids divide the two elements

then make a copy of the layer and join everything, run for each "hole" and the roof is as new.

do so:

1) creates a line that on the long side of the openings (in practice a line that goes from one vertex to another of the long side of one of the openings).

2) from the edit menu select "extrude faces"
at the prompt, after selecting the face corresponding to the thickness of the tiles in the openings (the thickness of the short side), type t (trajectory) and choose the line you created before.

do the same for the three openings.
