problem with double save in a directory

good morning to all, from a few days in the company they installed me creo parametric 6.0.

I press that in the past I have already used version 3.0 for a few months, so I have configured it autonomously and customized with corporate templates.
I said that, I have a problem with rescues. in practice when I save my prt or my asm, in the folder where it is saved I find more files with the same name, so many are the saves done and touches me eliminate them by hand at the end of the day, resulting in breaking of zebedei....... do you have any idea?

this is the basic setting of saving creo/pro-e, if with creo 3 you did not have this system, you certainly had the option that prevented the creation of new files to each rescue (which I personally appreciate, compared to other cads).
you have 2 possibilities:
- insert this option (which I do not remember the name) into the config.pro you are using on the 6
-Do direct the config.pro of 3 on 6 (make a backup copy though).

I don't use the single save, I prefer to reserve the opportunity to go back in time to a rescue that could save my butts... and "push" sometimes the folders to lighten them.

I highly recommend multiple rescue, it is very useful to repeat previous versions.
to do cleaning at the end of the project use purge.exe, than allego. with wf5 works fine, just copy it to the folder and launch it, just leave the last version of each file

the multiple rescue is very useful, I happened to have compromised files that I could no longer open and simply by eliminating the last save I could open the file without losing all the work.
there are several methods to delete the various versions of the file.
you can do it from the drop down menu file - manage file - delete old version.
or from the crack command prompt: once all windows are closed, the home window will appear.
from there go on utilities - open system window (it opens command prompt) type purge and sending, in this way you clean all versions of .prt files - .drw - .asm except the last one.
It's clear that before you do this, you have to be sure you saved all your work.
