problem with il command isola layer

Good morning.
using autocad 2016, the command "isola layer" (isolay) instead of temporarily turning off the layers that I don't want to display, deletes them all.
I make an example: isolo the "muri" layer and when removing layer insulation (rimisolay), only the elements drawn with the wall layer remain while all others are permanently erased.
Has anyone else happened yet?
