I need to change a design that inside it has a set of grouped elements (I don't know if they are cells or groups or anything, I know that when they select a line takes me inside the whole block).
once the part to be changed with the command breaks element of the toolsbar groups, the problems that arise to me are two.
There is a line that represents a fence and is composed of a series of hyphens alternating with crucides.
the first problem is that once the design is decomposed the line is no longer whole, but each single indent or crucible is selected separately, as if it had been designed with certain patience piece by piece (which I doubt strongly).
the second problem is that wanting to recreate the line I am not among the available types of default in microstation that type of line, so unless you draw a piece at a time I don't know how to do.

hi giancarlo, I don't want to throw you down, I think from that design you can't recover your line style. definitely that block has been imported from a different format design maybe a dwg, alternatively you can see if you find the font of that line style or you can try to create it if you have a little good will

Today I looked at the line styles that I uploaded to my pc at work, I think I have what interests you in case we feel that I send you everything

Thank you for your concern. It's a job I don't have to do, but I'd like to figure out a little more. I use the v8 version in English and it seems to me to understand that microstation allows to create custom line styles, the fact is that I can't. the element menu -> line styles should serve just for this: edit the scale of the lines and create new ones. As for the staircase I arrived: just go to custom; as for the styles of line you should create by edit... But how?

I know that you can, but honestly I have never applied especially fortunately the client for whom I work supplies us with all possible and imaginable line styles and retinals, I try to inform me and to disconnect a clutch we see that they combine and make you dare
