hello to all

I have a problem I can't solve in any way.

a short time ago I recovered an old iron wheel from an agricultural tool. Now I'd like to use it as a crazy pulley for my little project.

However as it would be subject to a non-small load, I wanted to calculate the coefficient of darkness or better the maximum tensions that would occur in the material.

so I designed, not without any problem due to the lack of some functions in inv2008, the whole piece. and a part file, not together.

When I proceed with the ugly, my mistake.

the problem is that there is no features in particular to which to assign the blame. in fact making a round of "suppress features" I noticed that everything works if I leave only one radius of the wheel. so also the particular geometry of the edge that had brought me some suspicion does not have to do with the error.

I tried in a thousand ways but I can't... I changed the outer circle and built it with a revolve instead of the sweep and many other things.
So I ask lumi to you! is there any problem that I do not see or is it fault of inv2008?

for greater clarity I attach the file.

with 2011 the analysis works without problems.
the error should be due, as the message says, to some element that very small compared to the average size of the object and therefore fails to assign an average size of the single dowel.
try to vary the settings of the meshatura, in 2008 there is a bar to establish the size of the dowel and a pair of flags to activate (I don't remember well). Do some evidence and find the exact combination.

Thank you very much! ! ! ! !

You don't know how useful that image is. are two days that are hard to get agonized stress analysis. Finally I can continue with the design:-)

Thank you so much!
