problema driver stampante hp deskjet 1280 con autocad e windows 7

Hello everyone... I have a problem with autocad.
I am currently using autocad 2011 but the same problem gives me also with 2010 and my operating system is windows 7.
when I go to press my hp printer comes out this message:
impossible to use the plotter configuration for one of the following reasons: driver or device not found or incorrect driver.no one print device will be used.
on the hp site there are no drivers for windows7! you can find a solution to make it work? ? ?
my printer is this: hp deskjet 1280

tried the alternative to print on plt files and then send them to the printer?
or print on pdf.

bad business, even because in manufacturer's website while choosing a driver for win7, the inexorable sentence appears:
installing the product with the usb cable and using the windows update driver or the driver located in the windows 7 operating system
@ paolo caslla1280 is a compatible pcl printer, not a plotter hpgl...

seven "does not even notice" and does everything normally as before with xp.

if the cause is the one from me found the problem is not autocad but the printer that does not have drivers for seven (my plotter is at least 13 years old and hp has "evolved" only until view). but they work because for certain aspects win7 is very similar (no miracle:biggrin.

However in the case of irene its printer is perfectly updated to the new know (I checked on the hp site and the drivers there are), so I don't know what to say. .

often with hp "short" things happen: I have a psc 1215 multifunction printer. at some point "disappeared" along with its management/control program (?). searched on the hp site I discovered that it is not "compatible" with internetexplorer8. I then remembered that actually the thing happened after I let make windows updates including the browser change.
ok, they released a "resolutive" patch but that solves little. patched drivers work "half": using the scanner you can no longer save in pdf or text, only image formats. even in the management program there are no more all the items before.
reported by mail they answered (think "automatic") something as they are not aware of the problem or solution, the guarantee is finished then contacting them payment (in 20 euros it seems) to the number of telephone assistance. . I call and pay to make me say there's no solution.
for now I hold it so, to the next replacement cartridges change machine that costs less:smile:.
