hi to everyone, I am new to the forum, looking on the internet a solution to my problem I fell numerous times on this forum, but I did not find a specific solution to my problem, so I decided to register and post everything!
already from a few days I am trying to make a bathroom that I created with revit 2011, for the quality that I need I do not address to any other program because mental ray on revit already goes well.
I just have to show the customer how his shower will come with the tiles he chose, but the work, however free, is revealing a big waste of time.
premetto that with rendering of external problems zero and excellent quality. .
I come to this point:
after finishing the bathroom with so much sanitary and tiles, I put the lights, 3d view, render average quality to control the materials. . result, in the worst cases black screen; change lights and put neon with power 2800 lumens that, in a bathroom so it is also too, result.. It's still dark!
before you ask me, I lit the lights, tried and tried to change any value or setting, changed lamps, downloaded the .ies files from a site and uploaded those.. I tried them all! What's wrong?
thank you in advance, do not answer me to remove the cover or things so because regardless of the work I am doing now, I would like to learn the mechanism to not make mistakes in the future!
Thank you again! Good day

I'll throw it there.
Is your bathroom a closed box? or do you have the 4 walls and then the ceiling with the floors? have you given the correct transparency to the windows and doors?
make a test, in rendering you remove a wall (that which in view 3d you do not see and that behind the room) and see if it improves...if yes then you have problems with glasses

Hello and thank you for the answer. .
In the meantime the render would be nocturnal, so based on artificial lighting, the thing of the glasses I had already solved.

2 other possibilities:

check that the lighting source is outside the lighting device.

increase the number of rebounds of indirect light.
The latter will increase the time of rendering.
