a perhaps banal idea....
I do not use to render with autocad, but if I did so in my environment to render, what exists outside, at the limit also the same sphere that emulates the sky, with certain values of reflection, would lift the light that comes out from the windows and reflect it on the structure as if it were another weak ambient light.
I would try to close the window doors to compare the intensity of light reflected from the walls with the one obtained instead with the open window doors.
