problema svergolamento [warp]

hi to everyone, it is recently that I know this forum and it is already becoming fundamental in everyday use!! I thank all for the precious contents that day after day pour you. . .


We come to the problem. I have to integrate an electrical circuit on a mechanical component in order to evaluate its encumbrances and possible collisions. the cicruit will be taught on a flexible basis, and will be placed on the component in order to form an u.
I was trying to use the warp function and in particular the blindfold tool so that I could pull out the 3d model of the circuit and then bend it in the way it gets better.
Here comes the beautiful: warp goes into crisis, totally incoherent forms emerge and this is not unique, but only happens second in certain areas.
I understand it's not a common problem, I'd like to know if it's a wf2.0 problem or I'm wrong with something.

I believe that using the warp function in your case is not the best sulution.
draw your circuit in the already deformed condition.

from what I see, I think you can do everything in sheet metal and then eventually flatten the model... :smile:

thanks for the answers.
at the end I created the flat board as sheetmetal, then I made the assembly with the electronic components, and finally I intervened on the particular board giving it the desired bending. if in the asm it lost some surface it was resolved all by reclining it.
do asm on the already folded tab I did it before writing on the forum, but I was looking for a faster solution because in that way there was the risk of wronging some positioning (electronics gave me a dxf of the flat card).

cmq if one day I need warp what do I do? What kind of mistake does he have?
