problemi grafici i2010 su notebook

Hello, everyone.

There's a problem I can't solve on my own. I just installed inventor pro 2010 64 bit on a new notebook (sony Vaio 4gb ram, processor i3, ati 1gb, so win7). Although the installation went well and the assemblies open and move quickly, known the following problem: passing with the mouse pointer over the model components do not illuminate the corresponding elements in the window. for example if point on yz plane in the work window does not turn on anything; moving the cursor to xz plane, lights yz plane in the work window. the same thing happens for components. working under these conditions makes a nervous come to turn it off and take a walk! I am convinced that it is not a problem of performance (in my old repentum i 2010 turns great): Would you suggest a solution?

check any selection options within the program. if the problem persists, you need to optimize the notebook and update the drivers with those of the ati manufacturer if available, if it is not a problem of settings.

It also happens that pressing f4 does not appear the orbit but it is as if there were because I can rotate the piece.

Unfortunately I can't fix it. I tried to install the 2011 version of inventor (trial 30 days) but the problem is identical. Has anyone ever had a problem like win 7? I can't believe I'm the only one...

the butto there: when it installed me inventor 2011 the dealer updated the hardware library by downloading it from the autodesk site and copying it (I don't remember where, ahimè) to be sure that the drivers were the most up-to-date. If the laptop is new, maybe you have to do it too...

Moreover, have you tried to change settings from the application > hardware options tab to evaluate effects? there is also diagnostics, if you have not already tried.

I have just tested all 3 options of the hardware card but the problem remains; from diagnostic comes out a positive message. I consult the autodesk website to see if I find anything.

but what card do you have exactly?is certified? ? generally to work at the cad you use nvidia certified cards like painting? otherwise you could use omegadrivers

the card is an ati hd 5650. cmq I solved everything: I launched the goo update that found some updates also of the video card. the goo update also dragged the updates of win 7. I don't know what was the update that solved the problem but now everything works properly.
