try to look at the 3d connexion site which is the last driver that supports your device and uses that.

hi luca, these are produced with a very fast obsolescence, I have a simple space mouse that just purchased (new) years ago worked perfectly with all applications, automatically.
I was sailing on firefox, adobe reader and of course sw cad and cams for which these gadgets were born.
after several updates of the s.o., in the years, something began not to work and for example adobe not move it anymore, and it is not alone.
there is also a discussion about this, where it is recommended (obviously) to update drivers, but the results are not always positive, not only for me.
What to say, just to do some tests, if you have a disused PC available, you could try it there, with a windows version of a few years ago and unhook with drivers suitable for that version.
