2) design assistant advice to use it to duplicate assemblies, parts etc or later to manage new names?

2) for all things. It's a kind of file management that keeps links and allows you to rename. a little slender but better than exploring resources.

do you copy the folder or individual files?
And when you call them back, you don't mind?

Then, usually I don't even renounce.... sometimes I happen to have to rename parts, but when I open the idw inventor design tells me that it doesn't find the file and I just do a search and I point the idw to the "new" part that lies within the same folder....
