Hello everyone,
I just started using sw simulation 2014 and I have a problem (I believe banal) with the application of some constraints. . .
in my case I have a structure composed of beams and pillars that the software considers as trave elements during the simulation phase (structure visible in the figure below):
at the bottom there are four small supports that I decided to bind as fixed geometry:
after which I applied a load per unit length of 100 n/m to these three components:
made this provide meshare as visible in figure (above I meshato the surface by shell):
starting the analysis the system converges and gives me its results only that a "short fact occurs": it is as if some beams are detached from the supports and others instead remain attached. . .
How come? What did I do wrong?
thanks in advance.
