problems with creation and import iges

Good morning to all, I am facing problems in managing iges files exporting electronic cards.
I have to deliver 3d models to customers without them having the opportunity to isolate the components on the board (they need to see the work as a "skin")
to do this work in this way:
1) I make my set card
2) I carry it in iges only with surfaces and flat
3) if the customer wants the step I take it back as step after importing it

at this point to verify the amount to verify that everything is in place.
in some proe wf3 projects fails to export the iges file (is it perhaps a problem of size?), in other cases it exports it but when the lost amount of the surfaces on seemingly quiet components, without particular geometries (rectangles etc)

I looked at the log file showing the processes, I attach it.
in this specific case the iges was 125mb.
I know that when I take it out there are no reported problems, but when I try to import it there are open error reports, so it's true that ptc gets stuck and I have to close it from task managers.

I therefore ask:
a) Does anyone know if there are limitations in creating and importing iges files? (I can't use the step because it separates my components)

b) the analysis of the log file can be traced back to something to improve to make the import more reliable?

Thank you.

Hi.
a case similar to yours I solved it with the packaging file, from which you can create both the iges file and step.
I suggest you make a quick test

I tried, but I lose a lot of details.
as resolution I put 3, what value do you think I have to set?

now I'm trying to export for caia and then reimport it

values range from 1 to 10.
You have to do some tests, see what happens with the 7 value and you rule yourself accordingly.

I have tried and I attach the images of the result. the original pcb_ shows how the proe model is actually. The plots are the same families that the birth of r126 is the same as the two neighbors of the same size.
in the pcb exported in packing at level 10 I lose some parts, not all.
in fact of the 3 identical resistors under r126 is exported only 1, the other 2 I lose.

the surfaces that I lose are serpents, the pins of the compoennte, the silver ones remain.

It's the same as Iges export.

if there is any other suggestion. . .

I'm trying with wf4, maybe it's a wf3 kiss.

Thank you.

I rearrange 2 more images perhaps clearer, more 'the compoennte than always (and only that type even if of different sizes) the problem is genuine.

If someone more experienced than me (I'm electronic) can open it and take a look, maybe there are problems with surfaces etc, things I can't find.

I still tried to afre a pcb that mounts 1000, and on this pcb problems I did not have in exporting the packaging.

now I try to erase various compoenents in the whole that gives me problems and then to solve the packaging

Thank you for your help.

I solved the problem by exporting the iges with the wf4, evidently in the passage from 3 to 4 they fixed something.
