you explained the problem very well, it is normal, he straightens the sheet with a "fixed" reference and in your case coincides with one of the straight edges.
However, in the table or in the export of the flat figure you will have no problem, the flat repetitive view is oriented to the "normal" I answer the sheet plane allowing you to see the correct development.
