I use iv2010 with sp2, I have encountered some problems with updating color in ipart members (that I use a lot to create variants of my assemblies).
I did the following test:
1) I created a new iparte, with 5 different mebris only for color.
2) I used the option generates part, 5 members of the same color were generated equal to that of the active mebro in the iparts.
3) I deleted the members, I inserted the members into one set at a time, the colors were created correct.
4) I filed in the vault.
5) I opened the ipart and changed the color of a member.
6) I opened the axieme, the axieme is asked to update and extract, all members of the same color are displayed (the member active in the ipart). the browser vault icon is yellow with i, the file save is required but not extraction.
7) I close the axieme without saving.
8) I open one at a time the members, the color is correct, the member's request lightning update, update, color changes according to the color of active member in the ipart, is required to extract and save the file.
9) restore iparts and members as at point 3
10) I change the ipart by adding a single member processing.
11) I open the axieme, the members have changed color as already happened before, the modified member is updated, the extraction of members is not required but only the rescue. in the rescue window is highlighted that the file is saved without being extracted.
Does any of you have such problems? Is there any solution?
