problems with topocal

Good morning to all!!
I just signed up and hope to be in the proper forum for what I have to ask the community.
I have to design a new primary urbanization and among the elaborate graphics that I have requested there is the lotto plant with the level curves.
browsing I found the topocal software that seems to answer my needs. I tried to put it on, but it doesn't work. currently use win xp and autocad 2010.

You're right, I've been too vague.
I downloaded the 2010 version but when you start it opens a window that tells me that the program is outdated, to download a newer version and closes. I downloaded the 2012 version but this does not accept data impt of any kind.
