Hello, I am not an autocad user, but it happens to receive from customers dwg layout that once imported and integrated into me10 become unmanageable.
I asked if there was a procedure, in addition to the standard overkill, purge, laydel etc to make the design lighter and manageable even after conversion.
thanks for availability

depends on the type of objects you receive (lines, solids, surfaces, ...)
Unfortunately I am totally fasting autocad, so I can not even give a precise answer;
work at a company, which has always worked on layot made with me10, acquired by an connector from a Chinese company that provides layout in dwg format probably made with a software called caxa and then transformed by autocad in dwg.

in the company you would like to import the dwg in me10 but with all these steps the file becomes unmanageable indeed in the last case you can not even import in me10.

I asked if it was possible to find standard procedures, even to lighten the file with autocad 2019 and make it manageable then by me10, I also tried to process the dwg with smartpurger but I did not get any results.

Let me insert the links of the duedwg: version before and after smartpurger
version 1
version 2thanks to the availability, suggestions and possible help

the second file after cleaning weighs more than the first...
What is smartpurger?

I'm doing the normal purge. I find a lot of stuff to get rid of.
However what loads the file a lot are deleteable line styles with the lisp indicated https://www.cad3d.it/forum1/threads/stili-di-linea-non-eliminabili.37563/after this cleaning the file
new-position_04-04-2019 arrived at 31mega
new-position_04-2019_smartpurger arrived at 50

and maybe they're still better

I forgot, at the opening it alerts me that the file was created with an education version

the software used most likely is caia that with me10 interfaces with formats igs, iges, stl, and with all mechanical standards

the correct procedure would be to bypass autocad and use a digestible format from the two software and engage the direct layoutmenet in me. try talking to your bosses

no I think the software cad that they use is their own name caxa since the mother's house is Chinese, but the layout was generated with another software by an intermediary of the final customer mengniu which is another 7 mld Chinese giant of annual turnover, so asking for exhaustive information is very complicated.

said this I thank you anyway of the help and suggestions and Monday I will try to use suggested to see if then the file is importable in me10 that is tied to our 3d with the machines to place in the layout.
