with great disappointment (as well as disappointment) I saw the list of software included in the new suites 2015... well, there is to be really bad, especially if one had inserted into your workflow, software like alias or mudbox since now there are no more!
in practice, compared to 2014:
remained only the premium and the ultimate (no longer exists the standard)
alias design is no longer (in 2014 there was only in the final)
autodesk showcase no longer
autodesk sketchbook designer no more
autodesk mudbox is gone
the whole “compensated” from the reduction of purchase price of the new... sin that now you don’t remember even more how much I paid it at the beginning (among others they often do promotions) but I know well how much I paid the sub a couple of months ago at full price! I hope the next renewal falls as a result. For now, only the new customers, the old ones, instead...
but who used programs no longer included? can you continue using them (obviously remaining steady at 2014) or will you have to delete them (regardless of the fact that with the subs you can use the last three releases of the sofware)?
in practice, if one had implemented the way of working with which they presented the suites, he would now be on foot... instead of adding tools, they take them away. that you live the same, but it is easy to say “not renew the sub”: Unfortunately it is practically an obligation if you want to continue working... and you must undergo the “incomprehensible” choices of autodesk.
and then, fortunately, they left me 3ds max, even if I fear it will not last... but who will compensate me when they will not put it in suite since I also had it as a stand-alone but I (of course) interrupted the renewal since I did not need two licenses? And they certainly wouldn't let me re-activate the old license. Of course this speech now applies to alias or mudbox or other.
Last Chicca: It seems that showcase 2014 does not import inventor 2015 files, so it risks becoming unusable soon...
But they left autocad electrical... had at least put an autocad p&id or a structural detailing would almost please me. . .
