Good morning at the whole forum!
kindly, I would need a program that allows me to save and display a 3d model in .exe format
this would allow me to send the model both to my boss and to customers and, without having installed a particular program on their pc, that can open it and display components, interferences etc...
until I used pro engineer, I always used edrawings, which interfaced correctly and you could use a free version. now, since I create, edrawings has become a fee (almost honorable considering that I should use it at most 9/10 times a year).
I hope I've been clear enough and expect your answers!
Have a good day!

hi freexf,
Meanwhile thank you for the answer.
I tried to export with 3d-pdf format, but the file turns out very heavy and difficult to manage, the display is snapped and the heaviness of the files makes it complicated to send it via email.
even if as a concept would be perfect, because it would make it possible to send it to a customer and show it without the client downloading a dedicated program.

I don't know him. but would it be possible to get a model viewable from the customer without this downloading a special program?

shade_quality 3
edge_quality

reduce the size of the 3d-pdf

open native creo file without app you know it's impossible

hi .. edrawing mentioned by you allow to run the display program but I think it is the only one with this function. in all other cases you need a dedicated software. as the pdf3d lets you use acrobat reader (installed on all default pcs) but it is usually heavy. creo view express can distribute it free of charge and is included in I create the problem is that you have to send him the original files with a speech sharing information not recently. it is best to hijack on neutral formats (iges, step or jd) and its free viewers. once your client knows what to use is fine forever.

What do you mean, "original files"?

creo view express has no feature tree as in creo parametric.
then creoview express can only see geometry opening a native creo file.

I'll explain.
What do you mean, "original files"?
in the sense that it directly uses native files of creo prt, asm and drw and sincerely I to a customer nn would send him native formats because with those could build the same product without passing from me.

you can always export .pvz, which are even lighter

I repeat the thanks for those who answered me.
Andreaterzi, unfortunately my fear was just that the only program with the peculiarity of performing the display program was edrawings.
on sharing the original creo files are absolutely in agreement with you.
the problem is that having large customers companies if not multinational, you find yourself talking to people always different, and having a file format viewable without the help of external programs was a convenience not recently.
