progressive numbering with data fields

Hello
Can anyone tell me if there's a chance with the "fields" to insert a progressive numbering? as there is the "date" field that automatically updates the date of saving a design I wanted to understand if there is one that allows progressive numbering without resorting to lisp.

Apart from that you did not specify where you need the numbering, with fields without lisp it is not possible, the numbering option is present only for the sheet group.

I would like to make a progressive numbering (e.g. 1 to 40), the annoying + thing can be write with text a number (e.g. 1) then copy it and edit it in 2 then copy it and edit it in 3.... and so on. Am I clear? So there are operations that can be done within the fields that allow a progressive numbering?

In the fields, as Planner said, it's not possible.
use express tcounts, select the texts you want to number, and the game is done.

I must say that among all the compromises that we accept all added use the autocad for mac is not really a disaster; Of course, I come from a ten-year use of autocad for windows now I have to accept that many "useful" things that existed/exist on the version for windows, now they thought to remove in the osx version.

I explain better...where there is 000000 I would like to write 001000, copy the drawing totally lines and curves and text, and in the sucessive 001, so on, if I gate for example 001100, those after scale the numbering!
Am I clear? I don't think I uploaded a lips file, numbering and autonum, but it always stays in 000000

example:
1) we want to eliminate the third: erase the third, the fourth and edit it and update the connection to the second, regen, the others will renumber automatically.
2) insert the fifth and move the current fifth ÷settimo in the tail: copy the fifth, edit the old fifth by updating the link to the new fifth, regen, new updated numbering.

intelligence would serve me, even normal, I just can't allego the file! even if you do not renumber it is the same important that from the first to the last are numbered, to the limit gate the last, and I make serial copy from num deleted.......
