progressive serial punching

good morning to all, I would need to find a marking punch for the n° of progressive series on sheet metal details (every shot must change the n° from 0001 to 9999, p.e. ).
must be inserted in a progressive mold, cold.

years ago I saw such a tool at a customer, but now there is no more, of course.
I evaluate supplies or collaborations with those who have experience or catalog gadgets like this.

I'm sorry if I say stupid, in case I ignore myself... but use a laser marker instead of punches? is not physically (stampo, ingombri etc) possible?

Now they use a percussion marker, holding the tags.
