Good morning to all, I have a question to put...
if I want to copy exactly a project (e.g. a study of a machine made up of many components), without going to change the original project, how should I do?

it is correct to create a new project file and then physically copy all files of the old project (2d and 3d)
inside the new project folder? in this way by modifying the files does not corrupt the risk of modifying the original files?

open inventor and put yourself in the project where you have the overall you want to replicate.
go look for the total iam file, as you had to open it, dx button on the file and choose " pack & go ".
opens a window where you have a set of options, choose " keep folder hierarchy " and choose where you want the new project to be created with all the necessary files.
take into account that the files will be new, managed separately from the originals but with the same name, with everything it entails.
