projection of remarkable points

Good evening, my name is davide and I am an intern at a technical office where I will take care of design for the next 3 months. I used both solidworks and inventor in the past and, with those programs, I know how to solve the problem. I practically do not understand how to enable the option that allows the projection of remarkable points (e.g. an average point) so as to create a sketch starting from it.
In plain words, I have to create a section plan on the technical table but I can only get it started from the middle point of a segment, not for example just above.
the bosses of the technical office cannot solve the problem, ergo I appeal to you:d

you have to activate the alignment indicator. I still prefer to put the primitives initially "near" to where I need them, and then use the geometric constraints to fix them where they really have to be.

Bye.
