How can I do a test to see if you deform my tubular structure made with "savings"?
con simulation, I would open a static study, where I would set the whole structure as a global contact, I would set the constraints and loads and do the tests. How can I do a test to see if you deform my tubular structure made with "savings"?
but with simulation express under the label evaluate you can't do anything? I think there's no "simulation" in my version. .con simulation, I would open a static study, where I would set the whole structure as a global contact, I would set the constraints and loads and do the tests.
simulation express can only be used with the parts (and is present in the version of solidworks professional) we say is a kind of preview of the true simuletion present from the premium version as simulation (only static), if you take premium simulation you also have other tests like dynamic and temperature and fluid dynamic etc etc etc...but with simulation express under the label evaluate you can't do anything? I just do it to make myself an idea but I can't use it for nothing.. .
but do I have to put welds on the tubular axis, or do I not care?simulation express can only be used with the parts (and is present in the version of solidworks professional) we say is a kind of preview of the true simuletion present from the premium version as simulation (only static), if you take premium simulation you also have other tests like dynamic and temperature and fluid dynamic etc etc etc...
therefore with simulation express you have the possibility to perform static studies but on parts and not on assemblies.
I usually put the group together in the welded structures, selecting all the bodies/parts so as to simplify the calculation (as told me what the course did on the simulations, put the welds or calculate it with the unit group changes little in the final result), more than other important is to set the constraints well and well the loads.but do I have to put welds on the tubular axis, or do I not care?
thanks for the celery answer!:finger:
That's the problem. I tried quietly at home last night but I didn't understand anything! Is it not that you could give me a flourish or report some tutorials or something?.....more important is to set constraints well and well loads.
but do you have the premium or professional version? because with simulation express, you can only study on part files, and in the multiframes you can select only 1 body on which to study. That's the problem. Thank you.
I have a premium, at least it seems to me... we say simulation I have to add it from "add" because I "spento" it at startup...but do you have the premium or professional version? because with simulation express, you can only study on part files, and in the multiframes you can select only 1 body on which to study.
ok is the right one.... I put you a video, look if you can do something, my suggestion if you have to do advanced studies is to follow a corset, which explains all the options for good, and that roads segliere in some cases more cough than others (to have a more truthful outcome possible, and the usual tricks to simplify settings to earn time on calculations).I have a premium, at least it seems to me... we say simulation I have to add it from "add" because I "spento" it at startup...
Thanks for now, after I look at it! :finger:ok is the right one.... for now I have not understood anything, but tonight I want to read well all the simulation guide... I don't have to "design" anything, but I wanted to try to learn this functionality that, in some cases, could come back very useful!ok is the right one.... sure it is useful to use simulation when you need to check the structure, probably reading the guide will help you a lot in using the program. good reading :biggrin:for now I have not understood anything, but tonight I want to read well all the simulation guide... Thank you.
to me a problem with the united group. the calculation had made it an engineer with premium simulation and this type of management sang completely the assessment of welding carvings.I usually put the group together in the welded structures, selecting all the bodies/parts so as to simplify the calculation (as told me what the course did on the simulations, put the welds or calculate it with the unit group changes little in the final result), more than other important is to set the constraints well and well the loads.
to me they sugested it at the course, after I carried out tests, i.e. I carried out tests with the welds modeled and with the united group, and the difference in the result was imperceptible, then I don't know maybe with structures more complicated than I use I experience problems, I thank you for your reporting, I will definitely be more careful in the utility of now on.to me a problem with the united group. the calculation had made it an engineer with premium simulation and this type of management sang completely the assessment of welding carvings.
from what I know, to obtain reliable results welds must be modeled and loads must pass there.
