Can anyone enlighten me on the main differences between the two packages?
from the site I see that the essentials version lacks top-down functionality, so you can't change the individual parts directly into a set or what?
Advanced costs about twice the essentials.
Are the prices I found related to the annual license?

-essentials is the normal creo with strong limitations in external references
-advanced includes the advanced part on axiemi and management external references (management of skeletons and very powerful commands such as "copy geometry" and "publishing")
-design advanced plus is the confluence of the package called isdx for style surfaces, tolerance analysis and how much I read commands and (presumption clear) specific for molds.

if you do so top-down with external maths and work so much with the surfaces, the advanced is obligatory, and already what I listed above, if properly exploited, widely repays the investment.
advanced design is worth it to me if you also have the part of aesthetic designs inside the company and you design and build molds.

on the website novedge.com, it is an American distributor but I think that in principle prices are those, or not?

Usually the cads here cost more than they use. a "basic" triffe for rent is on the 3,000+ year.
