 hi to everyone, I'm a mechanical engineering student and I think it's time to see some of my designs on solidworks
I've been looking for a month now the printer that could do to my case, but as an accomplice, I haven't yet been able to find the solution that most suits me.
I was initially interested in galileo xyz pro; at the expense of previous models with the latest available firmware has become completely open source (now you can also use non-owner slicers as care and slic3r) however reading around the quality of prints does not seem excellent. (correct me if I'm wrong)
continuing the research I came across also in the robo3d r1 plus, however it does not seem to be easily distributed in Europe and between taxes and shipment I would pay over 300 euros from the price present on their site.
to start I think that even a prusa kit could go well, and in this regard I had considered the "original kit" itching i3 (updated in February 2016 with the e3d extruder) however I can not find many comments around and I can not understand what the report "print/reliability quality".
If someone could clarify my ideas I would be infinitely grateful, in particular I am looking for a model that allows me to print abs (which I think would use more often than the pla), with a sufficiently large print plate (at least 18x18x18mm) and with a price that does not exceed 1100 euro VAT included.
thanks to all in advance
