quantity in different configurations

I should use a piece in different configurations, i.e. one with 4 and one with 8 additional pieces (all equal). to do so I created a set by setting two different levels of detail, suppressing the unnecessary 4 additional pieces in the first configuration. inserting (paying times) in the general axieme the axiemino, at model level everything back, but the problem arises in the distinct: 8 additional pieces are always available for each axiemino inserted and not 4 or 8 depending on the configuration chosen... Of course the total quantities are high: how do I manage them?

to make it quick is the solution I followed... but it is not the best solution. especially for the management of quantities: there are companies that manage the same particular (therefore the same code) even if with different details (for example if for mounting it is soldered with a support or fixed with screws and another support).

it also says inventor in the message when you are about to set the filter associated with the view.
the filter does not act on the quantities but on the visibility or not of a certain line, then or exclude the whole line (integer code) or if you exclude only one instance of that code in view representation and apply the filter, the line remains and the quantity as well... they want it to change the amount according to the visibility.

I think the iassembly remains the only correct and clean way to manage different quantities in the same code.... even if I hope to be wrong
