do you know if you can import pictures with the transparencies (Alpha and surroundingschannels set with photoshop)?
I tried but without positive results
Hi.
C

the non-support of the alpha channel could be due to incompatibility of the .psd format with imprint.

I don't have a photoshop at home, but as soon as I find a free moment, I'll check it out in the office. .

thank you, however I am doing first to prepare the image in ps and then insert it ready in imprint... however great the tool droppers of the latter!
Hi.

So, I imported a .psd imprinted with three alpha channels:

1] white (absolute opacity)
2] grey (semi-transparency)
3] black (absolute transparency)

the result is that only the part in correspondence of the alpha "black" is transparent, while the other two are completely opaque.

it comes that it is better a priori set the transparency in irfanview (saving in .png or .gif) without daring with the etched dropper.. .

Thank you so much!
I'm still noticing that "hate" this kind of program, a bit like excel  but why the hell did I get back to using it?

"hate" this kind of program...but because What the hell am I doing?
if you allude to ps, it is because Let's talk about #1 in his field.

If you're referring to print, it's because This is the best free alternative to powerpoint.

:

We would miss it, ps is one of the best inventions of computer science... I am referring to pauerpoint
Of course, it is less bad that there is:-)

there would be a free and easy alternative, contained in the Swiss knive called irfanview.

with the option w - reproductive salva come exe, you can create so-called "stand-alone" presentations without using powerpoint or imprint.

you save n screened in e.g. jpeg format, and then the blanks in a slideshow as This is.

it comes from my old pantry made in word: to advance, right mouse button, to go back, left key.

Sure, you don't have the special effects of these giants, but it counts the content, as well as the portability of the slideshow on every pc windows.

ah magic Irfanview, what is it not doing?? ?
e.g. law but does not write the phenomenal djvu format, which compresses about 10 times an equivalent jpeg image or tiff...

However, a gifted cavalry. . .

tried, very simple and effective. Do you know if saving the presentation I can act on the overall weight of the file?

you must act on the starting screens premium of the rescue in exe, according to the golden rule:

1] saves as .gif, for tract images or drawings up to 256 colors

2] save as .png or .jpg if you have thousands of colors

as to the djvu format, parts from qui.

:)

rightly!

I feel great I'm dejavù, I'm downloading the trial to try a little. software costs little, I think, from $19 to $49 if I didn't get it wrong.. .
see if I understand correctly: I extract the jpg from my etched file; I buy them with djvu; I open the series with irfanview and generate my very light exe presentation?

at the end of this interesting discussion (which should be renamed, for the truth) I suggest you also evaluate the company presentations in pdf format.

they are:

1] portabili (just the ubiquo and free adobe reader)

2] multimedia, not to let spectators fall asleep (unless you are a brilliant speaker)

3] you can zoom in and whip with the handle.

by the way, fasten your belts and look here.: the third slide is animated around its axis, while the last one is interactive.

Thanks, the pdf is a great invention. . I guess to get the effects you showed me you have to assemble it with acrobat, while I am currently limiting myself to cute pdf, which costs 45 euros, it is not bad but I suppose it is not comparable to the original
Hello and thank you
ps: I would have renamed the discussion but now it does not seem possible
