Question: small golds on 250 ton press

I was offered a 250-ton press at an interesting price.

My molds are 246 x 246 mm.

Can I use them on that press?

I speak of molds for injection of plastics and in particular of abs.

first you have to check the minimum size of mold (in height) mountable.
at the limit you can put some cutting plates between the machine planes and the mold to reduce the light minimum.
the problem, however, I think, is the injection group.
with a 250 tons is by force of quite big things, in so small molds the weight of your printed will be very small compared to the group.
this leads to a time of stay in the room of the material very long, resulting in degradation of the same and all the problems that this entails.
