hello to all, I have some problems with managing styles.
I created an idw file template with my custom cartiglio and when I realize a design I go on new, I select it and create a view by associating the ipt model.
all right here, every time however reset the styles of the layers that I modified in the idw file (and a message appears to me) and this is the first problem.
the second is a little more complex to explain. I have pieces that are equal on different assemblies, how do I copy the masses at the table by associating them with another model? so you can update your cartiglio data with the correct iproperties?

I try to answer the first: you have to update your styles with respect to the library, otherwise the error message that he does not know which is the correct one.

hi, I solved this problem by creating a library, based on iso, from the library center that you find on windows start. at this point you personalize what you need and then from the tab styles and rules click save.

make a copy of the date design folder. open inventor without open files and go on projects. set the active project on "reading and writing". at this point open the idw file with the changes made and go to the ribbon management. to the left select the "Save" icon where there is styles and norms. at this point all idw settings will be saved in the date design folder that will be synchronized with idw. close the file and return the project to "read only". I am using this method but I happen that when I go to save it opens the popup that asks me to update the references and so doing I also update the design file of origin. . Otherwise you don't save it and I find myself with two equal files... What a disaster
