quotation on the vertical plane

Hi.
in the latest versions of autocad how do you quota a solid? the quotas project them all on the horizontal plane, I can not make vertical quotas. The only way I found is to create a new ucs system. I think it's a bit snoopy. suggestions?

No suggestions. . .
that I remember no version of autocad inserts a quota that lies outside the current bird (that is the global or an arbitrary).
so (always from what I remember) in no version of acad you can have quoted vertically without changing the ucts.
Your procedure turns out to be the only way.

with my cursed autocad 2004 I can quote a solid looking in assonometry on all directions.
Now, "smaning" on a colleague's pc I found this complication. Maybe I'm the one who stayed too far behind.
