quotation with hidden boards

the "search " is not helping me to find the discussion on how to quote a diameter on a view of detail in which the axis of the detail to be listed is not visible.
Can someone refresh my memory?

I don't know if I understand well, I include the axis of the model, quoting using that and then I remove the visible check, always for the axis.

if you have the axis is logical....instead I am asking how to quote a detail of a section of a solid revolution where the axis is not visible because it does not enter into detail.
realize that I have a ø600 tube, of which I have to show a detail of enlarged section of the inner bevel of the tube, so the detail is small and does not "arrive" me to the axis of the piece.
I remember there's a way to do it and there was a discussion about it, but I can't find it. . .

I use this method in situations like this.
including the axis temporarily though it is out of detail and eventually I take away visibility.
If there is another method however I would be interested to know it x evaluate if it is better.

I'm getting stupid. .
Your idea seems to me great....but why don't you recognize the axis included as an entity?
If I want to create the inside of my tube, I click on parallel linae to the incuso axis, I click on the axis, it highlights it to me with the green balls, but it does not quote the distance between line and axis, it gives me only the length of the line...
