in the table, how can I quote the step of a spring?
inventor does not recognize any snap point:-(

the thread diamtro I can take it without difficulty, step no.

It seems strange to me that I never happened until now to quote all the parameters of a spring, but I did not find previous designs as a reference and I cannot remember if (and how) I had ever done it before in previous companies.

as workaround, I thought of inserting a text note, taking the step value from fx data.
How are you doing?

Thank you.

I ask a banal question and I attack this post (now definitive) not to "pollute" the forum.

question: if I have a square plate (or rectangular) I always have to put the boards, or do I only put them if I intend to quote the elements of the plate regarding its center? (maybe a sort of zero piece in the processing).

Thank you.

if the piece is a simple rectangle without other processing does not draw the axes; if instead there are symmetric holes (or other), then yes.

the axes are placed on the details of revolution (albers, holes...) if they are used for symmetry.
a plate with symmetric drilling with quotas starting from a edge does not need axis that would give contradictory information (beam the holes compared to the axis or starting from the edge? both valid on theoretical measures, but not if general tolerances are considered)
