You can hide the extension but in the reppresentation the quota points to the true distance, if the quota is long (not 20mm) you go around the sheet.

I continue here, so much seems to me to be traceable to this discussion: on a detail (but it is also valid on a normal view) of a circular piece (obtained sicchè with a revolution) I go to Recover quotas from sketch, which have been obtained by touching the axis and diameter line, in this case the diameter symbol (ø) comes out automatically, I then put the tolerances of the case and the share in the sketch appears exactly I want it. because once in the table the tolerances are there but I miss the symbol of diameter? ? ?

I think you solved it, but I'll throw it there....
do your detail by incorporating everything you need, then make a break (stop command) so as to resize the detail but keeping the baseline for your share....
