reactivation costs sw license after cancellation

we are thinking of not renewing sw licenses (1 professional and 1 standard).
I do not remember however if in addition to the cost of new licenses you will have to pay also all the years lost, only a penalty or nothing.

Does anyone know?

Hi.

there is an additional cost compared to the normal annual fee of 500,00 € per job, regardless of how many years have passed since the last renewal. such cost is to list as "reinstallation fee".

in substance if you activate 2 standard stopped for 5 years spend 2x1500 of canon + 2x500 reinstallation fee for a total of 4000 euros. this at the price list, discounts apart.

also with inventor, with creo, etc... less than return promotional campaigns (which are there every year when it is time to make budget).
I think this policy is among the few series in circulation. I know that once even nx worked like that, at least they told me.

with swx a license is never old and from this point of view, you can afford more flexibility than competitors.

I add that it is good that you know why around there are not properly correct commercials that say that you must always do maintenance, even if you do not use the cad....

for against solidworks you can install the sp only if you are in active maintenance. in practice they want to be paid to correct the mistakes they themselves commit! Other cads are assisted throughout the release life cycle.

for pro with swx you can transfer the two licenses (1 work plus home) from one pc to another even if you are not in assistance.

It's been like this for a couple of years, and it's a dirty business policy.
