here is a small application to facilitate the process already known to activate realview using windows log for nvidia video cards and ati.
doesn't work with the integrated ones.
just launch, select the graphics card and everything is done with a simple click.
no viruses or any other kind of malware.
Good vision!

works with sw 2009, 2010 and 2011.

I remember that manipulating your hardware not illegal, you lose only the right to receive assistance and the warranty expires.
in this case then it only changes the registry.
this shows that the certified starboards or boards are identical to the consumer for games, even perhaps worse.

It has already happened that on the official forum of solidworks, to enable the anti-aliasing on the ati, an Italian user recommended the use of a modification to the registry.
the head of the developers of the rendering software part, did not recommend this manipulation only because you lost the right of assistance.
There is however the groin and then develop and adapt to what competition does, see inventor.
I also remember that it is perfectly in line with the vision of hirschtick (former solidworks crate), the use of cards used by gamers.

but is it only necessary to enable realview? or also improves model display (in the sense of improving rotation speed) and removes the other "fast" that are recorded sometimes using video game cards instead of cad certified, type artifacts in sketch or problems when opening many documents?

that the differences between certified cards and home cards are only at software level I am convinced too....

What links? Now I'm on linux and I couldn't launch the executable, and I already have the picture on this pc.
I meant the link to the attached rar file that he posted.
now replaced it with a new zip and everything works.

p.s. @ solidus; you could put it in the discussion useful resources. ...and thank you for reporting (I also have picture, but can come back useful)

on my xp with nvidia 260gtx does not work, exits the error signaling window.
Did you try to "softmoddare" 260 with the tuner shore? from the gpu chip it would seem possible to turn it into 4800 but I never heard who did.
I'm looking for a cheap one for that.

greetings
