reference elements on table

Good morning, everyone.
I'm not a crack expert. In fact, for more than 10 years I used only inventor.
Now, because of a decline in work in my office, I was temporary moved by my colleagues in the nearby office who use ptc software.

I say that I have my problem.
I have a subassieme y, inside which I have to mount a series of tubes on a reference structure.
in my subassieme y, therefore, I do not want the structure to appear, but only the part related to pipes, fittings and various distributors.
in the table, however, I need to see the structure, so that in the department they can easily understand where all the elements of the piping should be mounted.

I thought of using the copy geometry of the structure, starting from the evelope of the same.
doing so does not calculate the weight of the frame and does not appear to me the component in separate. Moreover, at the table it is immediately recognized as an element not fundamental and placed on other layers.

on the other hand, however, the subassieme y will have to be subsequently mounted inside the assieme father x.
in this, the structure that I first put as "reference" is already present, and will be that "official".
I would therefore like to create a visual representation in the subassieme y where the copy geometry of the structure is hidden, and use the same representation in the x axieme, so as not to see 2 overlapping frames.

Can you help me?
thanks in advance, even for having spent time reading my problem.

If I have well understood your needs, I would make a variant of the axieme y with mounted the copy-geometry to use in the table.
while the generic can use it in the final assembly.

if I understand the problem you could create in subassieme y a level where to put the structure.
in the axieme where you don't want to show her as long as you hide her by switching off the level (both in 3d or at the table or where you want)
Hi.

It is not about layer, but to use the family table where to create a variant going to turn off the component with the copy geometry.

At least, I would do that...

Hi.
added,
"in my subassieme y, therefore, I do not want the structure to appear, but only the part related to pipes, fittings and various distributors. "
you can do it at different levels and you can remove items that you don't need or have hidden, such as if you do it at level + low you will have all the components + subaxis and assemblies, then filters and hide those that you don't want to appear

If I understand the problem :), hello

then there are 2 roads:
1) use family table;
2) use the layer function.

as anticipated my knowledge of the software is very earth-land.
As for the family table I have seen very little, and my colleagues use it little and see it with distrust.
as far as the layers are not so minimal as to use them. . .

Thank you both!

the levels in creo are about as the layers of autocad, in the part / together go to level , create level and add machining / components .
At this point in the assemblies you will find all levels of components and you can manage them as you want to view or hide them, in 3d, in the table, in both.
then manage the distinct as a result...

Hi.

Thank you very much. Now I'm gonna try to organize myself with my colleagues, and I'm gonna do some evidence.
kinda
