So, I managed to get into this community, but I don't see anything interesting about it.

reference sets are the way it has nx to display a component in context of together.
There are automatic (model, entire part, empty) whose names are already explanatory.
Then, you can define how many you want, having different geometry.
for example:
- model: 3d geometry of the component
- mate: geometry that is used to mount the component in an assembly (a screw, for example could be represented by axis and top under head)
- dmu : geometry that represents the model 3d + the dimensions for disassembly, or dimensions that should not be occupied. (imagine, a battery that must not have components below to avoid damage if it loses liquid
- simple: simplified geometry (for example removing small holes or fittings, bevels)
These geometries can create them, for example, by duplicating the solid in an associative way and removing faces with st
