Good morning to all, I put this post in the proe forum because I think the answer can come from some mechanical cad user.
I downloaded the 5 trial version of keyshot to get realistic renderings of the electronic cards we produce.
no problem in reading native proe files (wf3) , a little bit slender the allocation of texture on the printed circuit, but feasible.
the problem is that rendering materials must be applied to various surfaces
during the import the option of maintaining the original materials of proe was activated, so the various components I see them as in the mechanical model.
I ask you, then, if someone uses it, if it is possible to make sure that keyshot reads the materials assigned to the proe parts as if they were his and then performs the rendering directly without manually intervention. in practice as if it were the rendering engine integrated in proe or better in creo.
the purpose of having the rendering engine separated from the mechanical cad (we also have the arx extension) is to allow 2 people to perform independently the phases (the mechanic does not necessarily have to be a graphic expert)
Thank you.
