chain repetition is specific to the environment together and not the part as in the case of @ andrea1974 .
that of the chain was only an example, in fact I also wrote then belt, to mean a repetition on a rigid path made necessarily of lines and bows or only lines, but absolutely not spline.
I never used the splines to make a repeat guided by the curve unless the spline was the native trajectory to make it; so you can do it for me, as though I can't tell you because I don't have such a dummy memory to remember passages made long ago
