In my work, I find myself often having to insert in sheet metal parts of electro-welded prisoners. . .
until now in the part I insert another part (the prisoner) and use the repetition guided by sketch to repeat the prisoner himself, but so when I make the distinct materials, the prisoners are not counted.
I would like to make a subset of sheet metal + prisoners, but I don't know how to repeat them on the sheet.
if I use repetiz. led by function, ok but the function "marks" the sheet and the laser follows the stretches of the bearing function... another way I can't find!!

First you do the repetition of electro-welded prisoners' seats, then repeat the prisoner with the function-driven repetition, all in the environment together.
toolbox has standardized for pem sheeting.

what soliduser suggests is the best and cleanest solution. if you absolutely want to do everything in the environment part enter the welding function and so you can get a distinct that includes prisoners.

If the hole bothers you, you can make a "laser" configuration where you suspend it.
or instead of making a hole do an extrusion without joining the result, the sheet is not perforated.

if you work in sheet metal environment is very simple:
in the default development configuration suspend the drilling function.

I write without having verified, because I know of the existence of a bug on the imported custom properties, however you may if the normalized pems of the toolbox do to your case, configure in the environment together the article you need and check a description with the star icon, then insert it in your sheet as part with the option of importing custom properties and make a sketch repetition of that part.
in the properties of the elements verify that there is the description property, otherwise add it by hand.
in the cutting distinction of placing at the table view the description property and the game is made.
