I would like to put a problem that is very recurring in the group.

there are details that solitament do not create but that complete the distinct (in my products):
- labels
- packaging.
- non-important cables
- packaging bags
- stitches
- ......

to complete the distinction (of the costs above all) I carry the table of axis (file .csv) and I process it with exel sheet.

a solution I want to develop - experimenting is:
the creation of fictitious assemblies that appear in separate creating them as parameters of which I recognize (I don't know how)
the attribute for example of cost.
At this point I would like to be able to sum up these fictitious parameters and obtain a complete distinction directly from pro e.

This quickly solves cost analysis without the help of accessory systems (pdm) ... at least for me.

In these cases I create details to all effects, even without feature, just to take advantage of the parameters, and I insert them in the various assemblies.
... maybe, however, the best method is to use the auxiliary parts, which if I'm not mistaken serve precisely this.
Let's see what other colleagues suggest.

I confirm that for this kind of work the best procedure are the auxiliary elements (bulk item), although they are usually used for other types of elements to be calculated (colles, adhesives, painting, etc.) because they exploit the parameters of the system by adding the various properties such as volume, area, etc.. so for labels and bags I do not see so much sense if not to have a line in distinct base cad and then export it to excel and to make them my calculations, even if the user as I seem to understand does not want to hear about pdm in reality this should be handled on that side, connected to the erp obviously. . .

I try the auxiliary parts solution.

I will try to create automatic creation systems (macro and everything).

I often lose sight of the elements (especially when you go to "distinguishing").
