I pose the problem of saving files with 2010 (which I have never seen yet) so that I can open them with 2009.

old files if opened with the new are updated irreversible and will be unusable from the original version.

the only one is to export them to the various "neutral" formats (in this case the parasolid is the most "faithful"), but you lose all the "history". something recognizes/recovers, but the simplest functions.

but considering that you will have to work together it is definitely advisable to update both offices to the same version.

However it is my opinion that the policy not to allow an exchange between versions of different years (at least the x+1 version should open the x version) is completely fallacious.
forcing users to update continuously does not lead to any gain for software house, indeed, invites to piracy.
If this exchange could be possible, the software (and with it obviously the manufacturer) would benefit :finger:
