Recently for the realization of my projects, I carry out modeling with revit and then carry out in artlantis to realize the rendering.
at the time when I pass to artlantis I lose different definition components and some materials of different kind are improperly unified.
do some of you make making by combining these two programs? Are you satisfied? I wouldn't... if you had any advice, I'd be grateful!
Say hi!

for revit export, do you use dwg?
is it possible that artlantis is unable to properly import all dwg settings?

no no, I downloaded a plug in to save the revit file directly in formanto atl!

Hello, and if you export to 3ds and then import it to 4d cinema you can't do it?
....even if then I should recapture all solid...patience

4d cinema I do not use it and I do not know it unfortunately! I'm devoting myself to artlantis but I'm afraid I have to perform modeling with archicad because, as I said, revit creates problems of loss details

"no no, I downloaded a plug in to save the revit file directly in formanto atl!"

Can you tell me where you dumped the plung in??? I use revit 2010 thanks

I lose the materials too and I think it's a normal thing!!! If I can give you a advice to make with artlantis instead of revit is an heresy!!!!After one is free to do what you want!! !

I would like to know if in artlantis you can only render or even import additional objects like 3ds or obj?
artlantis studio and artlantis render, what is the difference?
surely mental ray is superior, but each program has its own qualities and its defects.
Maybe it's very fast to create animations.
revit2011 to make 30" animation 640x360 (900 single frames png) with 8 core took me 60 hours
