Yes, when you did the abaco you can from the file menu choose export then (discover below) abaco and create a txt file that you can then import into excel.

This is what they asked me to export, the information I put in the family types tab.
I tell you my perplexity:
- almost all the info entered in this table are contained in the technical sheet, it makes sense to copy them (and I have to do it manually, but it is not a problem) in these boxes or does it make more sense to leave everything in the technical sheet?
especially because copying manually means that if you update the data sheet and do not update the bim file (because maybe the tab updates it someone who doesn't even know that the bim file exists, or why the file sends it directly to customers and you haven't loaded it on portals or on the site) the usual disaster to have a thousand different sources with a thousand different information.
- I don't know why they asked me to export this table, considering that all the data comes from the technical sheet, passes by a txt, arrive here, and then we also need it in xls?? I can try to ask. . .
If I tried to give me the database from which the technical cards fish the information (which then go directly on the site) and in the table I put the links to the database cells (as long as it is possible), wouldn't it be better? we could skip at least 3 steps with high probability of errors.

I wouldn't put this information in the family's properties, rather I would insert a link that would refer to technical information, maybe on a site.
the info for which I would make a link are:
- approvals and certifications
- fixing / installation
- shoot parts (which you already did)
- techincal sheet and maintenance (which you have already done)
all these may refer to a specific pdf file for each property, or may refer to a page, then here depends on how your website is structured.
bim files must contain information, which must be accessible and shared. link or "non-link" information will still be accessible, so ok.
because we asked you these info, depends on who made the request, what considerations have been analyzed. the same applies to the need to export everything to excel.

I couldn't help but notice that you entered "identity data" a descriptive "material" parameter: plates and rosettes materials.

regarding the server area to which you can link you can use two methods:
1) static: in the bim file I type the link to the document. the link address remains unchanged, while the content may vary. for example the link is http://www.miosito.it/certificato-prodotto-1.pdfin this case the link always remains the same, but the certificate (pdf file on the site) can be replaced and updated with new versions.
2) dynamic: in the bim file the link changes automatically depending on the product properties. this can be done through three objects:
- the rfa file
- a txt file
- a formula in the rfa file field
In this case, however, the link definition rules must be the same used by the web programmer for the creation of the dynamic web page (php, html or asp/aspx) used for the product site.
you have to “link” documents on a server accessible also by users who use your library files, otherwise they could not download the “linked” file: normally a website.
the name of the field that contains the link must be as explanatory as possible. if in the field insert the link to the technical specifications the field will be “technical details”, if the link refers to the installation instructions and so on.
