revit... how to start

Bye to all,
I would like to start using revit, can someone give me advice to start? I bought a book "revit architecture 2013" although I use I have 2012.

I wanted to know if it was possible to make curved roofs (e.g. an u that starts at zero altitude and then ends at altitude 9)...you say that it is possible to do more complex things? or does it just autocad and 3ds?

Of course you can do many things, from simple to more complex, depending on what you want to do you will have to use different approaches to work. Anyway to start you should watch some online tutorials and cuff us a little on your own to figure out how it works in great lines.
But I think we can only get to know a certain level of knowledge with dedicated courses.

the cost of these courses say that it is high? Do you know where they're holding?

you can do anything, or almost. it is necessary however to know well the product

Just do a little online search and you will find what you need (as for paid courses).
