a gross problem rev I can't fix it.
I opened a file I was working on and I find a surprise: the interface is literally crazy.
the windows of the project browser and the properties have “invaded” all the screen, preventing me from seeing the drawing window.
After several attempts I can hook up the browser window to the side (as had been set by revit himself) and magically the property window disappears.
every time I try to access the properties (clicking on the icon or right-click) revit stops.
I ask for help. I can't work without property and I don't know how to do it.

specific that the same problem remains even if I open a blank file.

Bye.
I have the same problem, too. after entering some lights, I couldn't open revit properly. I thought it was a "bacus" of the file, but the property curtain no longer appears with any other project, and when I call it, the program stops. while restoring the software and also reinstalling it from head, it does not solve anything.. .

Thank you very much.
I was playing for the argument already solved when .. the consequence was nothing.... I think the best thing is to erase all the revit settings and make sure that the restores happen. do you know what the files to act on? I mean, are there any other registry settings to delete? Thank you.
p.s.: I'm waiting for assistance from the dealer, but I still haven't had any feedback... .

If you have w7 as os verify that the profile you use really has the characteristics of admin......some have solved by creating a new profile....other I don't know how to tell you.....you know that the problem can be resumed and that the procedure should still be re-executed. . .
Hi.

the operating system is xp, on a machine is 32 bit, the other is 64.. I hope, at least this time, that you will be able to make a useful contribution. soon

We're still waiting for the dealer's support reaction, but kicking out here and there, I found a way to remove corrupt revit settings. this method worked:

it is about rename or delete the following logs (better the first, so in case it is restored).

(regedit.exe)

for 32-bit versions of windows xp, view and windows 7
• hkey_current_user\software\autodesk\revit\autodesk revit architecture 2011
• hkey_current_user\software\autodesk\revit\2011
• hkey_local_machine\software\autodesk\revit\autodesk revit architecture 2011
• hkey_local_machine\software\autodesk\revit\2011

for 64-bit versions of windows xp, view and windows 7
• hkey_current_user\software\autodesk\revit\autodesk revit architecture 2011
• hkey_local_machine\software\autodesk\revit\2011
• hkey_local_machine\software\autodesk\revit\autodesk revit architecture 2011

I stress that I'm not a programmer, so I can't guarantee anything, but now the software turns and the property curtain is back perfectly.
Hello!

hi I am new to the forum, I was reading your discussion about this revit problem, which I also have and do not know how to solve it.
I really don't know where to start, I can't understand the procedures described to solve the problem.

my operating system is w7 to 64bit

I can't work since yesterday with revit under these conditions.

for the moment take the project browser and unplug it from the edge and take it out of the revit window
So you work:redface:
