I deal with plants and as for most of us we mainly use 2d and only in particular cases the 3d of naked and raw autocad2010 with not few difficulties.
Since many architecture studies have taken the big step towards revit, within a tight leg in this forum to ask if any of you use or is aware of the actual and productive use of revit for electrical and mechanical plant solutions (water, air, sewerage, pipes, air channels and cable carriers).
said this proceed with the questions:
1) autodesk offers revit in "version" mep which presupposes exactly what I mean, any of you use it? ?
I would like to know how it is in the interface with the everyday work world... .
personally I am not convinced that it is actually usable in a practical way for the Italian plant panorama, especially I would not like to find myself using a software that allows me to "dialogue" with architecture studies but not with companies or the final customer.
2) revit lt what has less revit standard version to justify so little difference in the initial cost?
3) revit mep costs the beauty of 6000€ so I would like to know what costs (new ones, possible courses) I have to take into account if I went to revit by autocad 2010.
Thank you all for your help.
